# Son Bou

Menorca’s longest beach, a wide strand of more than two kilometres backed by dunes and the Son Bou wetland, with a resort at its eastern end.

## Getting there

Parking at the resort and regular buses. The long beach means you can always find room by walking west, away from the hotels.

- Es Forn de Torre Solí Nou: Grilled dishes in a former country house inland

- Open to the south: waves and currents can be strong, so follow the lifeguard flags.
- Most resort facilities close in winter.

- The remains of a 5th-century Christian basilica at the eastern end.
