Getting there
About 10 km (15 minutes) from Ciutadella via the Ronda Nord. Street parking is limited and fills in summer. Steep stairs without handrails make it unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Where to eat nearby
- Chiringuito Baristiu — Beach bar near the bathing platforms
- Enricana — Terrace restaurant at the entrance to the cove, serving Japanese–Mediterranean fusion
Restaurants, menus and opening hours change from season to season; many close in winter. Check before you go and book in summer.
Good to know
- No public toilets on the beach.
- Bring snorkelling gear.
Worth combining
- The Cala Morell necropolis: around 14 prehistoric burial caves cut into the cliff, free to explore. Wear good shoes.

Wind & shelter
The catalogue records this beach as opening towards NW. Wind coming from that direction can drive waves towards the shore; wind from the opposite direction may give more shelter near the sand. Headlands, terrain and offshore swell can change the result.
North-facing beaches such as Cavalleria can be exposed during Tramuntana. Compare south-coast alternatives and the actual wind and waves before travelling.
