Wind & shelter

The catalogue records this beach as opening towards E. Wind coming from that direction can drive waves towards the shore; wind from the opposite direction may give more shelter near the sand. Headlands, terrain and offshore swell can change the result.

North-facing beaches such as Cavalleria can be exposed during Tramuntana. Compare south-coast alternatives and the actual wind and waves before travelling.
