Wind & shelter
The catalogue records this beach as opening towards S. Wind coming from that direction can drive waves towards the shore; wind from the opposite direction may give more shelter near the sand. Headlands, terrain and offshore swell can change the result.
During northerly Tramuntana, south-coast coves may offer more shelter. Southerly winds can bring waves into these beaches; compare the forecast rather than relying on the coast alone.
